Environment

Right by you. Right by the planet.

From 100% renewable energy to our plant a tree program, see how we’re working towards a more sustainable future.

Sunlight streams down over lush, rolling green hills and valleys under a partly cloudy sky at sunrise or sunset.

Our Commitment

It’s not too late. But we all need to act now.

Being an ethical Australian educational provider drives our goal towards being a sustainable business and making Australia a better place to live, work, and study.

We believe in the power of positive role models. It makes a world of difference when we show our students how we, and they, can act to be more sustainable.

100% Renewable Energy

Powered by renewables.

ACCM is powered by 100% clean energy.

Since 2023, our rooftop solar panels have supplied most of our daily power, with the rest backed by a 100% renewable energy grid contract.

We've also invested $100,000 in the Orange Community Renewable Energy Park as a member of the Energy Democracy Central West NSW Co-operative.

Plant a Tree Program

A native seedling for every student.

Planting native trees in key areas of Australia is an important step towards regenerating damaged landscapes, supporting native wildlife, and creating a carbon sink.

For every student we enrol, a native seedling is planted in an identified area of significance.

Carbon Offsets

Offsetting what we can’t eliminate.

Everyday life generates carbon emissions. Where we can't eliminate the activity that creates them, we've committed to offsetting it through a carbon offset program.

Our chosen program has the added benefit of providing habitat for endangered species in an Australian designated Global Biodiversity Hotspot.
